How it works?

Start by creating a profile

This is a 3 steps process where you’ll have to share with us some details about your personal, professional and online social life.

The most important one is the second step where you will have to specify your skills and experience, please make sure that anything you add is real as we do request for proof, we do count part time jobs as experience.

Get ready for the initial online interview

The goal of this interview is to know more about your personality and you as a human being, we do check your public online social life from the links you shared with us on the 1st step, for that reason we recommend you to just be you and don’t try to act but actually take our feedback and learn it by applying it.

Technical interview

We will interview of anything mentioned on your skills and experience, it’s ok if you don’t know to answer any of our questions, as Neil deGrasse once said:

“It’s okay not to know all the answers. It’s better to admit our ignorance than to believe answers that might be wrong. Pretending to know everything, closes the door to finding out what’s really there.”

The Ontwik challenge

The final step before getting approved is to work on a coding challenge made specifically for you based on the feedback we got from the technical interview. You will be sharing your screen with us and work on the challenge just like at any normal job, things you might need to know or have are:

  • - A laptop and Internet access
  • - You can Google things out
  • - basics of Git
  • - GitHub account
  • - A code editor
  • - A slice of your time to complete the challenge
